From her childhood years in Europe, to the places she has been since and to now her home in Canada, Meghan’s fascination with gemstones started at a young age when her Father would come home from business trips with a handful of them each time.

Having been drawn to the Southwest for most of her life, to this day she continues to be influenced by the raw and natural beauty of landscapes and the memories she takes away from those places allowing her passion for design, simplicity and working with natural elements to show through in each piece she thoughtfully creates in her home studio.

Working primarily in wax, she implements traditional metalsmithing techniques through each step of the process, is committed to creating high quality jewelry and believes in ethically sourced materials that stand the test of time letting you enjoy your jewelry for years to come. Jewelry being an intimate addition to ones’ personality, she creates each piece with love and intention.

Having joined our family in 2019, Timber has made everything more fun especially late nights and endless hours at the bench. You can find her in the Studio either sleeping, chewing a fresh rawhide or giving nudges under the arm, true Berner-style. The studio wouldn’t be the same without her - she truly is a part of it. PROCESS

  • THE BENCH

    Everything in our studio starts at the bench with every tool imaginable to create a prototype to be worn and taken on a test run for quality, wearability and aesthetics. This eventually turns into a design that is cast either in 14K gold of sterling silver.

    One-of-a-kinds are also created here, handcrafted entirely with our own hands, from start to finish.

  • FINISHING AND SETTING

    We have a separate side to our studio specifically for clean up, polishing and finally, stone setting. This is truly where the magic happens, where gold shines to its fullest, and stones are carefully set to finish each piece.

    We are currently working on designs for 2022 that will showcase beautiful gemstones including emeralds and black diamonds.

  • PACKAGING

    Opening up a beautifully wrapped piece of jewelry is just as special as wearing your piece so we love sending out beautiful packages, have it be for yourself or ready for gift-giving to the ones closest to you. Each Aurum Co. piece is lovingly put together with our branded stationary, custom tissue paper and signature hunter green velvet pouch for your jewelry’s safe keeping. We believe in the small luxuries to accompany your investment pieces.

    We will be adding custom gift boxes to our packaging early 2022.
